ドゥーム・ロックの帝王、Cathedralが新作『The Guessing Game』を完成させたようです！3月26日に〈Nuclear Blast〉よりリリースが決定。ジャケット＆アートワークはもちろんDave Patchettの手によるものとなっております。

前作『The Garden of Unearthly Delights』に引き続き、プロデューサーにはWarren Rikerを起用。DownからThe Fugeesまで手広くやっている方です。Bravewords.comによると、今回のアルバムは全12曲78分47秒にわたる作品となっているようでして、それはもう重くて遅くて長いドゥーム地獄めぐりができそうっす。トラックリストは以下の通り。

7分超の楽曲がたくさんあって幸せな気分になりますよねー。第1回Loud Park以来の来日にも期待！彼らのMySpaceは最新の日記が未だに「Cathedral to play Loud Park Festival, Tokyo Japan」になったままで、ズルズルのドゥームっぷりをこんなところでも見せつけてくれているわけですが、新作のリリースにあわせてようやくオフィシャルサイトもリニューアルされるみたいです。
