3月15日に開催されたロックの殿堂こと〈Rock And Roll Hall of Fame〉の受賞式が開催。昨年はMetallicaの紹介役でFleaが出ましたが、今年はThe Stoogesを讃えてGreen DayのBillie Joe Armstrongがスピーチを行いました。

〈ロックの殿堂〉とか言ってお高くとまっている会場を一蹴する素晴らしいパフォーマンス！「Come on, rich people」という煽りや、ビリー・ジョーが飛び入りしたときの「どっかのガキがステージに上がってきやがったぜ！」みたいな一言も最高すぎます。そしてステージにオーディエンスを上げる恒例行事を呼びかけると、真っ先に駆け上がってくるエディ・ヴェダー。すばらしいです。
The Stoogesは『Raw Power』の再発盤を間もなくリリース。2枚組の通常盤が現在Amazonで1400円ちょいなので、なる早で予約しておくべきかと……。とりあえず、めちゃくちゃライヴ見たいです。
